Craving Change™ is a FREE "how-to" workshop series focusing on helping you change your relationship with food. It will help you understand why you eat the way you do, and comfort yourself with food. It aims to help you change your thinking and change your eating.

The Better Sleep workshop promotes better and a more restful sleep. During this FREE, 5 week group session you will learn strategies to help relax your mind and body, to decrease insomnia, and to fall asleep or back to sleep easily.

Dial It Down- Relaxation and Stress Management

During this FREE, 5 week program you will get the opportunity to practice and develop strong skills in releasing body tension, calming and focusing the mind. Techniques are especially helpful in the self-regulation of headaches, muscle tension, insomnia, pain, anxiety, and panic attacks.

Diabetes Fit

This FREE exercise program is for adults at risk of, or  diagnosed with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It is a12-week program with 2 sessions per week, led by YMCA certified exercise professionals. Sessions include education and exercise designed to help you get started with exercise and healthy eating.

Diabetes Self-Management Workshop

This is a FREE 6-week workshop that was developed to support those living with Type 2 Diabetes, and their families, to manage their diabetes and includes goal setting to help participants start and maintain lifestyle changes.

Small Steps for Big Changes

Small Steps for Big Changes is an evidenced-based FREE counselling program designed to help make lasting diet and exercise changes to lower your risk of developing type 2 diabetes.  6 sessions of 1-on-1 exercise and dietary change counselling with a trained coach over 4 weeks.  Accountability check-ins with your coach at 12 and 24-months following completion of the program.

Healthy Habits for Life

Healthy Habits is a free 8- week wellness series for adults who want to build healthy habits and lower their risk of long term health problems. Each session is interactive, and participants leave with tips and tools they can use in daily life.

St Mary's Health: Foot Care Clinic

This free foot care clinic is available to all residents of Kitchener-Waterloo and townships.  The clinic provides professional, accessible foot care support delivered by certified foot care nurses,

 

Services include:

  • Toenail trimming and filing
  • Callus and corn care
  • Foot health assessments including screening for circulation and skin issues
  • Educaton on foot care and proper footwear

Indigenous-Led Nurse Footcare Clinic - Guelph Wellington Region

 

A new Indigenous-led footcare clinic is being offered at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus Ontario.  This free footcare clinic is being offered to self-identifying Indigenous individuals living in the Guelph Wellington region.Two Indigenous footcare nurses will be providing footcare services (nail trimming, corn/callus removal, foot checks and education) and advocating for referrals to specialists, elders/Indigenous traditional medicines as appropriate or requested.

 

Self-identification is all that is required to qualify.  The clinic opens April 2nd, 2026 with 6 appointment slots per clinic.  Clinics occur once every six weeks. Transportation funding is available for those who require support.
