The Healthy Plate model is a visual guide that helps individuals with diabetes manage their meals by portioning food groups. It emphasizes filling half the plate with non-starchy vegetables, one-quarter with lean protein, and one-quarter with carbohydrates (including starchy vegetables and grains). This approach aims to promote balanced blood sugar levels and overall healthy eating
